The IEEE SMC 2023 conference will be preceded by tutorials on Sunday, October 1, 2023, addressing current and future topics in systems science and engineering, human-machine systems, and cybernetics from experts from academia, research institutes, and industry.
A tutorial is a compact presentation covering a specific topic, providing overview and clear and organized explanation of a set of ideas. It may be prepared and presented by one or more presenters.
The IEEE SMC 2023 conference organizers cordially invite everyone to submit a tutorial proposal. A proposal should include:
title, objective, and structure,
the list of speakers along with their short bio,
a statement explaining why the proposed topic is of high importance and would be highly attractive to the audience, and
the schedule for either 2-hours or 4-hours.
Tutorials in relevant and trendy areas – such as Telepresence, Virtual Reality/ Metaverse, and AI and Cybernetics – are strongly encouraged. However, any topics that are related to the theme of the conference are warmly welcome.
All submissions will undergo a standard review process within the Conference Committee. Acceptance decisions will be based upon the potential significance, attractiveness, and timeliness.
